Get the Black Pepper Shrimp. Periodt. Papaya salad is delicious. Everything is prepared fresh and this place always has a wait.
I visited on Sunday lunch. I got Tom Yam soup with chicken and Beef at the Corner, they were generous portions and tasty. My husband got Beef with Chili and Lemongrass, it was also good and a huge portion. I think they should reduce the portion and price. Both dishes were nearly $20 each and we had leftovers which is almost another meal size. The service was great, the servers were attentive and kept refilling the drinks. I would come back for another dishes, all foods looked good. Their happy hour deal ($4 beer) and daily drink deals seemed good too. They charged 3.5% fee for credit card, and give 4% discount for cash so make sure to have some cash for discounts!
It's been a week since I have visited Lucky Corner and I am STILL drooling over their food! Pros: -The restaurant is beautifully decorated, clean, and spacious. Plenty of seating areas from the bar, tables, and booths. -Bubble tea next door! -Large parking lot -Service was remarkable! Server made great recommendations for dishes and checked in with us frequently. -Support family owned businesses! The owners are always making sure all drinks are filled and hot food is served. -Wide selection of dishes, vegetarian options, and for the picky eaters. Kid's menu is offered with fried rice, chicken and noodle dishes -Spring rolls were crispy, summer rolls were made fresh, and that peanut sauce... yum! My son (9 years) ate all the firecracker shrimp.. that says plenty. He also destroyed the grilled lemongrass chicken and said it was the best he ever had. The husband ate a beef dish.. let's just say I saw his food and then didn't. LOL I had the chicken with chili and lemongrass. It was just enough spice for me and chicken was cooked perfectly. -Portions were pretty large and meaty.. no fillers! -Several cocktail options. Try the Lychee martini! Cons: -My stomach wasn't big enough to try more dishes I like how they do have traditional pho options but absolutely love all the traditional Vietnamese choices. I will definitely visit again! Lucky Corner does not disappoint!

Great Vietnamese restaurant located in Frederick. The place has a wide variety of menu items and they are well executed. In particular, we really enjoyed the sea bass which is cooked perfectly. The atmosphere is modern with both chair and booth seating. Service was accommodating and relatively quick.
Expectations: Flavorful asian food - causal lunch or dinner spot. Exceeded expectations: I would bring out of towners here or even a place to celebrate a special occasion. The food is that good. The only dish I seem to order is the pumpkin chicken curry. My only complaint and next time I will Say something ... if you order this- ask that the pumpkin is cooked tender or soft. A few times now the pumpkin has been not fully cooked. (And yet, it's so good that this place still gets a 5 for me).
Best Vietnamese food around! All you really need to know is that the place seems to always be busy. We didn't have to wait for a table but there weren't man left. Extensive menu, very good, friendly service and, yes, delicious food. I got the caramelized pork in hot pot which came with a size of steamed veggies and rice. While at first I wondered about the flavor of the steamed veggies it was the perfect complement to the flavorful pork! My friend got the Chicken with Chili and Lemongrass. He said it was tender and flavorful. It's absolutely worth being again. It did have some heat...3 out of 5 he said.
Amazing place! Local favorite so i had to try it! I'm a pho lover so had to try the pho house special. Excellent taste in broth alone even before adding a few things from the plate of fixings provided. Some apps while we waited for the food: fresh simmer rolls and spring rolls! One one order of pho we asked for the meat on the side. The broth is so hot and still cooking once it comes to the table that it cooks me meat to my liking of medium rare for the good chew. Every waiter/waitress come around and check on each table really covering everyone making sure they're being fully attended. Didn't have to wait long for a table since it was lunch rush.
